I began blogging over a decade ago, back in the days when it was considered a "journal". But over the last couple of years the daily journals have transitioned into what is by today's standards, the typical blog.
I blog for entertainment and write about things I enjoy, but also use them to sell advertising space and sponsored posts so I can pick up a little much needed income on the side.
After returning to corporate America full time, I continue to design, develop, and maintain a small number of websites part time, which also helps supplement our income and keeps me out of trouble when my day isn't too busy (which isn't very often).
I'm happily married to a gorgeous and loving Filipina named Annie Lou, and have five daughters.
When I'm not working, blogging, or doing other activities with the family, I enjoy watching hockey (Dallas Stars), playing video games that fall into the city-builder genre, and cooking. Eating is also one of my favorite activities.
I have a blood clotting disorder known as Factor V Leiden, and run one of the largest and best international online support groups for others with this genetic disorder. Moderating this group is my way of giving back to my global community.
