I began designing and developing websites in the mid 90's. It started as a hobby, but a few years later circumstances gave me the opportunity to turn it into a business, a business I found I enjoy very much.
Though I have returned to corporate America full time, I continue to design, develop, and maintain a small number of websites, which I refer to as my "paying hobby". It not only helps supplement our income, but it keeps me out of trouble when my day isn't too busy (which isn't very often).
I'm happily married to a gorgeous and loving Filipina named Annie Lou, have five daughters, and three grandchildren.
When I'm not working or doing activities with the family, I enjoy watching hockey (Dallas Stars), playing video games that fall into the city-builder genre, and cooking. Eating is also one of my favorite activities.
I have a blood clotting disorder known as Factor V Leiden, and run one of the best international online support groups for others with this genetic disorder. Moderating this group is one of many ways I try to give something back to my community and help others.
